Northwest Stadium

1600 Ring Road, Landover, US

Home of the Washington Commanders since 1997 (it's cycled through names; Jack Kent Cooke Stadium, FedExField, briefly Commanders Field, landing on Northwest Stadium most recently), this is a full-scale NFL stadium in Landover, MD that also pulls in stadium-tour concerts a few times a season, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, the Rolling Stones, Springsteen, Coldplay have all played here. Capacity sits around 64,000, down from a peak of 91,000 in the mid-2000s. Bag policy is the standard NFL clear-bag rule: clear plastic/vinyl/PVC only, max 12"x6"x12", plus a small clutch if you need one nothing else gets checked, so plan accordingly. Parking is plentiful in the lots ringing the stadium, but for big shows you'll want to buy in advance online rather than show up hoping for a spot; lots typically open a few hours before showtime. Given the size, this is a "get there early, expect long security and concession lines" kind of night rather than an intimate show.
