The Fillmore Philadelphia
29 E Allen Street, Philadelphia, US
Opened in 2015 in Fishtown on the site of the old Ajax Metal Company (Hall & Oates christened the room), this Live Nation venue is really three rooms in one: the 2,500-cap main Fillmore floor with a balcony, the more intimate 450-cap Foundry next door for smaller touring and local acts, and Ajax Hall as a bar/lounge. It's a step up in polish from a dive but still has real energy good sightlines from the floor and a balcony if you want to hang back. Bags must be 12"x6"x12" or smaller and get searched at the door (clear bags move faster, but they're not strictly required here like some venues). Everything's mobile-ticket entry no physical tickets and payments are cashless throughout, though there are cash-to-card machines if you need one. Parking is available at two Fillmore-run lots on N. Front St. and Richmond St., pre-purchasable online, or you can take SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line to Girard Station, about a 10-minute walk. Doors are usually an hour before showtime, and for GA shows the line starts forming no earlier than 8am.
Check in from the venue to earn a verified stamp, or log a past visit as a memory.
